The Mind and Mouth Connection: Mental Health Among Dental Health Professionals
Dental professionals face significant pressures that impact mental health, job satisfaction, and quality of care. Clinical demands and workplace stress increase risks of burnout, anxiety, depression, and suicide within the profession.
This course examines how these challenges affect communication and patient interactions. Participants will learn to recognize signs of distress, respond within professional boundaries, and support a culture of awareness and well-being, with emphasis on reducing stigma and promoting sustainability in dentistry.
